GENERAL PROVISIONS:

UrbanBrakes warrants its rotors and pads to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for 180 days (6 months) from the service date or 6000 miles of use, whichever occurs first. The product, when properly installed in the type of vehicle prescribed, and in which a material or workmanship defect is found, will be exchanged free of charge if returned to UrbanBrakes, who is authorized to service this warranty. UrbanBrakes is not responsible for its products when they are subjected to misuse, abuse, improper application, or accident. This 180-day/6000-mile warranty excludes failure of components due to disc thickness variation (DTV*), usually indicated by brake pulsation. Normal wear is not covered by this warranty.

 

NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED BY URBANBRAKES TO MODIFY OR ADD TO THE FOREGOING WARRANTY.

 

*The primary cause of DTV, or “warped brake rotors,” stems from using an improper break-in procedure or executing long stops from high speeds without properly releasing the brake pedal after coming to a stop.
